Who we are
Linux Stewards is a UK-based technology-services business providing IT, website, document, Linux, AI and automation help. We are the controller of the personal data you provide through this website.
You can contact us about anything in this policy at linuxsteward@gmail.com.
What we collect
- If you use the contact form, we ask for your name and email address (required), and optionally your phone number, business / organisation, budget range and how you found us. We also receive the type of help you select and the message you write.
- If you email us directly, we receive whatever you include in that email.
- We do not use cookies or third-party analytics trackers on this site. Campaign attribution uses temporary browser session storage that is cleared when the tab closes and does not identify you personally.
Why we collect it
To respond to your enquiry, provide the service you asked about, and keep a record of our business dealings. Our lawful basis for this is legitimate interests — responding to enquiries and running the business. Optional fields are used only if you choose to provide them.
How your information is processed
Contact-form submissions are sent through Web3Forms, a third-party form processor, which delivers the submission to our email. Our website is hosted by Vercel, whose servers record standard technical logs (such as IP address) when pages are loaded.
How long we keep it
For as long as needed to respond to you and provide the service, and for a reasonable period afterwards to keep records of our work and any follow-up. We will delete or correct information on request where it is no longer needed for these purposes.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the providers that help us receive and store your enquiry: Web3Forms (form delivery), our email provider, and our website host. We do not sell personal data.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct inaccurate data;
- ask us to delete data where it is no longer needed;
- ask us to restrict or object to our processing;
- receive data you provided to us in a portable format;
- withdraw consent, where consent was the basis of processing.
You can also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
